She’s the diva of all divas, the queen of big hair with a voice sweet as honey, she is the one and only Ms. Diana Ross. Diana Ross isn’t just the former lead singer of The Supremes, she’s a style icon like no other and no one does glitz and glamor quite like her. Diana’s love of accessories and gorgeous costumes makes for a closet I’d give just about anything to raid. Diana has gone through so many different phases that pulling together a few picks isn’t all that easy. The Ranjana Khan turquoise and pearl Silk Teardrop Earrings are a tribute to her love of gaudy chandelier earrings. Diana’s got this thing for posing with tigers and other members of the feline family (think ‘Eaten Alive’), and this leopard sculpture would definitely come in handy if I was trying to recreate a Diana Ross moment or add an interesting piece to my decor scheme. Britney Spears wasn’t the first musician to pose in a bejeweled bodysuit, Diana did it first on ‘Everything is Everything’ and these Bebaroque Lourdes tights are the perfect more practical alternative to glamorous full bodysuit. I can’t resist sparkle on anything and these Giuseppe Zanotti booties are the perfect last touch to any look channeling Diana Ross.
I love heels as much as the next girl, although I do remember feeling Robin William’s pain when he said he wanted to kill the misogynistic bastard who invented heels in Mrs. Doubtfire. But I digress, I can’t live without a few good pairs of heels. While I’m quite sure the weather would still cause my toes to turn blue, I’m too in love with cut our heels to pass them up. I’ll shimmy my way into tights if I have to, to defend my tootsies from the not so ‘springy’ temperature. These eight cut out heels almost make me understand exactly why some men are so obsessed with feet.
